Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf
I've never cooked meatloaf in a crock pot and it worked out great. I used dry onion soup mix, left out salt, added garlic powder and a torn soft roll that was on hand rather than bread crumbs. It was done maybe an hour sooner than I expected; however I kept an eye on it through the glass lid. My family likes ketchup with theirs so they liked the addition on the top. It came out plenty moist and held together well. Will make this recipe again - love not using the oven.

Buttermilk Wheat Bread
Absolutely my go-to recipe for the older model (upright) breadmaker my cousin picked up at a garage sale. The recipe fills the pan perfectly, smells divine while baking, and when I have buttermilk on hand I always make sure to bake a loaf.

Ricotta Bread
Easy recipe to mix up for my bread machine - a little wet to start (also humid weather) - so I added 2-3 TB more flour. I think I might trade part of the flour for white whole wheat next time for comparison. I might also try a small amout of gluten when I do that as the top deflated just a bit on one side while baking. Otherwise recipe is nice way to use up some ricotta I had.
