Sopapillas
First, let me say that I think I measured something wrong as the dough came out SUPER sticky... so much so that I couldn't handle it... it was like a paste. So we just kept adding flour, little by little, until it was the appropriate consistency. Other than that, these are delicious! A sprinkling of cinnamon-sugar and a drizzle of honey and they were just like restaurant quality! I'll definitely be making these again!

Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits
These biscuits are fabulous! I make them all the time. They're great as a meal compliment or just eating cold with a bit of jam for a snack. Even my British in-laws love them with sausage gravy for breakfast!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes
These were absolutely *wonderful*! I skimped the baking soda and instead used that amount of baking bowder (we were out and I was hungry for pancakes. :P) and also substitutes the bittermilk for milk and lemon (again, lack of ingredient). I needed to add a bit of flour to thivken it up (I like mine THICK) and I also added a touch of vanilla. But nonetheless, this was phenominal! Definitely restaurant-style pancakes. I'll definitely be passing this recipe on!
