Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

I think this is the best salmon recipe I have ever tasted. I used olive oil rather than the butter to make it healthier. I would highly recommend this recipe.

Pumpkin Pie Cake I

I love pumpkin pie, so I was wondering how this would compare for me. I still prefer a traditional 'crust' with pumpkin filling(a pie), over this dessert, as do most of my guests. It was good, just not great imho.

Toblerone Fudge

Very good fudge! I was told many times, 'best fudge I've ever had!'. It turns out very smooth, tastes almost creamy in your mouth, and sets up perfectly. I will make this again next year.

White Bean, Spinach, and Barley Stew

Very mild flavor that is best as leftovers. Mine turned out very thick and I ate it with a fork. I'm not sure I would make it again, but possibly.

Microwave Cashew Brittle

This is perfect cashew brittle. The only problem I have with this recipe is getting the mixture to 'spread thin'. It really does not want to spread out, it starts to harden as soon as it hits the cookie sheet. I was able to cover only about half of the pan with the the mixture. Maybe my cookie sheet is too big, I'll try the next smaller size next time. Overall this is a great recipe, and if you follow the directions exactly is hard to mess up. Give it a try, you won't be sorry!

Chocolate Crinkles II

These were ok for us, not our favorite cookie. My daughter thought they tasted like dark chocolate, which she doesn't care for. My son that is a lover of all things chocolate only wanted to give this three stars! I'm not sure if I will be making these again.

Cinnamon Crackle Cookies

The perfect cookie to have with coffee or tea! I tried these fresh out of the oven and wasn't really crazy about them, but by the second day the flavor had really come through. I would make these again.

Not bad! It's a very interesting combination of spices that works. It definitely needs black pepper and parmesan cheese. I would make it again if I already had all the ingredients on hand and no idea what to make for dinner.

Spinach Rice Casserole

I found this to be a very flavorful and hearty side dish. I used all chicken broth and added 2 garlic cloves when I added in the brown rice. I decided to simmer the rice for 30 mins, and it still needed about 40 mins in the oven. I'm sure it was due to using brown rice rather than white. I will make this again.

Grilled Shrimp Scampi

So simple, and yet so delicious! I skewered the shrimp and then put under the broiler for a couple minutes on each side. Served with Spinach Rice Casserole.

Easy Pizza Sauce III

I think I would like this better if it called for half the tomato sauce, I like a thicker, richer sauce. This was not a stand-out sauce, but a good place to start adjusting to our taste.

Summer Doritto Salad

This is a staple in our house and a family favorite. The only thing I do differently is use Thousand Island dressing. I have also had it with the French dressing and it's good as well, just sweeter than we care for. I have also tried it with taco flavor Doritos, Spicy Chili, and Zesty Taco/Ranch, all were very good.

Cajun Spice Mix

I found this spice mix to be perfect for my tastes, only cutting back the salt to 1 tsp. Granted, this is not very hot/spicy, which is why I like it. I will continue to use this recipe.

Cajun Chicken

Great tasting chicken! I used my own Cajun spice blend and Italian seasoning blend. I also cut back the oil to 1 cup. I only had three breasts to marinate, they marinated about 6 hours. Chicken tastes good hot, warm, or cold!

Key West Chicken

We really liked the flavor of this chicken. I baked the breasts in the oven at 350 degrees for 25 mins. I will use this marinade again.
