Maria's Pepper Steak
Delicious! The sauce was so good. I made the following adjustments:
1. Cook veggies first, remove from pan
2. Cook meat by itself, remove from pan
3. Increase the amount of suace by 50%
4. Add cornstarch to thicken sauce
5. Once sauce is thickened add back veggies and meat to heat through.
6. I also added red pepper flakes as someone else had suggested.
I served it over rice, but would be really good over clear noodles as well. Better than takeout!
