About this Cook
Ever since I was little I payed attention to what my grandma was cooking. when I got married my husband swore and still does that I am the best cook in the world. Whenever we have a big family dinner I am usually volunteered to cook it.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook new things and try new recipes. Every Sunday is steak night because my husband has mad it that way. I marinade them then cook them slowly in butter. After they are done cooking I remove them from the pan turn the heat off and then add a stick of butter minced garlic and shallots. When those are aromatic I then add some wine or sherry to the pan and then some cornstarch and wala the best sauce to pour over your steak. If you want some recipes for steak sauces email me I have a million.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Nothing but ordurves on christmas eve. We come up with some great ones.
My cooking triumphs
Progressing ever year... The secret to life truly is butter.
My cooking tragedies
Burning spaghetti the first time I made it.. Haha that was so long ago and no one ever told me to break the spaghetti before putting it in the pot.

Anniversary Chicken I
This is a must in our house. I am a salt lover so I have no problems with salty food. I have made it several ways and this is the best I have come up with. Mix the teriyaki sauce half and half with ketchup. Fry the bacon and then brown the chicken in the bacon grease. Transfer to oven and brush with teriyaki mixture. Let cook 5 minutes and brush again at this time add the ranch. Cook 10 more minutes add the cheese and bacon for the last 5 minutes of cooking then sprinkle with green onions. Muah Perfect!

Pasta Siciliano
I use this site daily and never comment. I like to try a new recipe every week. My husband also likes to eat a meatless meal once a week. I am always searching for yummy meatless recipes. This hit it on the nose. This dish is so simple and fabulous! I added mushrooms and fresh parmisan cheese. I skipped the feta as I think feta is flavorless. I also skipped the red pepper flakes. I added kalmata olives instead of black. This dish is beautiful and so yummy! I ate the leftovers for 3 straight days. Serve this dish with a salad and bread and you have one great meal! It is a new staple in our house.

Easy Garlic Chicken
I make this when I need a quick dinner. The way I make it is similar. I double the garlic and butter half it. Dredge the Chicken in it. Coat with italian bread crumbs. Put chicken in a baking dish, Pour the remaining butter mixture on top. Halfway through cooking flip the chicken and put shaved parmesan cheese on the top. Yummy and Garlicky.
