About this Cook
Ever since I was little I payed attention to what my grandma was cooking. when I got married my husband swore and still does that I am the best cook in the world. Whenever we have a big family dinner I am usually volunteered to cook it.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook new things and try new recipes. Every Sunday is steak night because my husband has mad it that way. I marinade them then cook them slowly in butter. After they are done cooking I remove them from the pan turn the heat off and then add a stick of butter minced garlic and shallots. When those are aromatic I then add some wine or sherry to the pan and then some cornstarch and wala the best sauce to pour over your steak. If you want some recipes for steak sauces email me I have a million.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Nothing but ordurves on christmas eve. We come up with some great ones.
My cooking triumphs
Progressing ever year... The secret to life truly is butter.
My cooking tragedies
Burning spaghetti the first time I made it.. Haha that was so long ago and no one ever told me to break the spaghetti before putting it in the pot.

Killer Artichokes
Just one word Fantastic! Artichokes are my fav.. I grew up on them My normal way to eat them is steam them and then dip them in mayonaise wich I am also love. My hubby hates artichokes because he thinks they are an excuse to eat straight mayonaise. I cook with shallots alot and I always have some on hand and I was out of mayonaise so I browsed on this site and found this recipe. Anything with garlic rates high in my book. And this was just amazing wow I will never look at mayonaise the same way again.
