About this Cook
I am a Newlywed since September and I am gettign quite used to Married life. I am also a college student studying Early hildhood Education and I will be Graduating in June with my degree in that field. My husband and I have no children YET but we look forward to having our first child in 2 years. I am also a singer. I have been singing Gospel music for ost of my life and I have truly been blessed with a beautiful vocal instrument.
My favorite things to cook
I Love Baking. Desserts especially. My family says that my best desserts are Cheesecake Apple Dumplings.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My absolute favorite cooking traditions are when my family gets together at the last minute (which is often) or for a special occasion and Me, my sisters and mother have great laughs while preparing a delicious dinner for the whole family. Eveything is aways great and sometimes we have great cooking tips for each other but most of all the memories are truly what make it the best.
My cooking triumphs
It took me a little getting used to cooking chicken almost every day but that is the only meat my husband eats besides fish. Unfortunately I am allergic to fish so I rarely cook it for him mainly because I cant taste it to see how it turns out. I must say my triump is coming up with so many different dishes to make with chicken so that my Husband doesnt get bored with the same ole thing every day.
My cooking tragedies
I have made some horrible biscuits, more like flour rocks. So I am certainly glad that I finally found a good recipe to usse.

Soft Peanut Butter Cookies
These Cookies were delicious. I made them a few days afther the new year just because I had too much PB in the house. My hubby was very upset because his resolution was to diet and I tempted him with his favorite cookie(peanut butter) during the first week of the new year. He cheated and ate a few but I wont tell. The only adjustment I made was to add bit more PB and sugar.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
This recipe is awesome. It's only my first time making them but My Goodness they are Yummy. They didnt rise as much as I wanted them too but after biting into them, that didnt even matter. There is certainly no need for me to look any further for a biscuit recipe. This is the perfect one for me. I cant wait to put these on my husbands plate for dinner tonight, He's going to love them.
