I'm a busy Grandma of 5 grandchildren. We were totally surprised last year with a set of twins in Feb., their Brother in Dec. and their cousin in Feb. yes, 4 grandchildren in 1 year. I have had a daycare home for 30 years so I think I'm pretty qualified to handle 4 kids of my own. Obviously I love to cook for kids. I've tried different recipes from here and don't know what I'd do without all of you wonderful cooks and reviews. My daycare kids give me Thumbs up or down on new recipes and we DO write reviews. Baking Apple Pies like my Grandfather did. Grandma made Beautiful Christmas cookies. Baking has always been a passion, I love making cookies, pies and cakes. I've always gotten wonderful compliments. I love,love,love my crockpots and use them at least 4 times a week. I did try my hand at a Chili cookoff and won 1st place last year. When I was a new Bride, I had a hard time fixing artichokes. I always burned them. I gave up until I learned to make them in the microwave and I still make them that way 34 1/2 years later.
