About this Cook
I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. I never like cooking until I got married, and now I like to experiment as much as I can. My husaband is still alive, so I must be doing something right!
My favorite things to cook
Chicken!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Surprisingly, chop suey.
My cooking triumphs
Anything that I pull out of the oven that isn't under- or over- cooked is considered a triumph in my book ;)

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
Fantastic! I threw everything into a crockpot and let it simmer on low all day, just because I was feeling lazy. I also substituted 2 garlic cloves, and threw in 2 cans of tomato sauce, 16 oz of salsa, and a full can of drained dark and light kidney beans. I will be making this again!! Thanks!

Chocolate Mousse Cake IV
Goodness in a couple of boxes... Yummy! My frosting came out more like thick pudding instead of whipped, but it was still fantastic!

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs
Great recipe! I left out the water entirely- I didn't seem to need it after using 1 can of paste and 1 can of sauce in addition the to the crushed. (I don't care for watery sauce) I also threw in a little bit of basil, 6 cloves of garlic instead of 4 (some of them were on the small side), some mushrooms and reduced the sugar to 2 tbs as well. Thanks!
