About this Cook
My name is Mary, I love to cook and bake. I like to learn how to make new things. Besides being in the kitchen, I like to go on long walks and hang out with friends. I also like to sing and dance and read. I drink a lot of coffee; more than I should I'm sure. Oh and one more thing if I have a recipe I can make just about anything.
My favorite things to cook
If I like to eat it, I like to cook it! Theres not many foods that I don't like. But one of my favorite things to cook is a Green Bean Casserole thats a recipe my mother taught me how to make. I also like to make things in the slow cooker or the crock pot. If it's easy to make and tasty it's my favrite thing to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't think my family has any cooking traditions, unless you count the fact that my mother thought it was important that all of us kids learned how to cook. Since I love to cook I suppose that would be my favorite cooking tradition.
My cooking triumphs
I made a rosemary pork roast for my fiancee and I on our 3rd year dating anniversy, I rubbed the pork roast with olive oil, rosemary and garlic. I put in with the pork roast carrots, potatoes, onions, celery, I put water in there to of course and I let my fiancee put a little Jack Danials in there to. It was really great but we couldn't really taste the Jack Danials.
My cooking tragedies
No Comment, I'd rather not disclose that information.
