My name is Mary, I love to cook and bake. I like to learn how to make new things. Besides being in the kitchen, I like to go on long walks and hang out with friends. I also like to sing and dance and read. I drink a lot of coffee; more than I should I'm sure. Oh and one more thing if I have a recipe I can make just about anything. If I like to eat it, I like to cook it! Theres not many foods that I don't like. But one of my favorite things to cook is a Green Bean Casserole thats a recipe my mother taught me how to make. I also like to make things in the slow cooker or the crock pot. If it's easy to make and tasty it's my favrite thing to cook. I don't think my family has any cooking traditions, unless you count the fact that my mother thought it was important that all of us kids learned how to cook. Since I love to cook I suppose that would be my favorite cooking tradition. I made a rosemary pork roast for my fiancee and I on our 3rd year dating anniversy, I rubbed the pork roast with olive oil, rosemary and garlic. I put in with the pork roast carrots, potatoes, onions, celery, I put water in there to of course and I let my fiancee put a little Jack Danials in there to. It was really great but we couldn't really taste the Jack Danials. No Comment, I'd rather not disclose that information.
