Someone likes to get into my recipe box and give my personal recipes one star when I doubt they even read OR make the recipe. These are really delicious; trust me!

Crunchy Dessert Bars

Excellent! I used white chocolate sugar-free pudding in place of the butterscotch. It is very rich and creamy. Will make again for sure.

Chex® Holiday Party Mix

Very tasty! I toasted mine in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15-20 minutes. Also, added pretzels and peanuts to the mix. Taking some as a hostess gift for Thanksgiving.

I made this w/ sugar free instant pudding and sugar-free Cool Whip and it is excellent. Great Thanksgiving treat for those who can't have sugary desserts.

Easy Apple Strudel

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
I'm not much of a baker (especially pies and other things that use a crust) but I loved this recipe. I used puff pastry for the first time and found it very forgiving. I added a little cinnamon and three pats of butter on the top of the apple mixture. It was delicious!

INCREDIBLE Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies

The weather here finally cooled down enough to order the raspberry tidbits and I made the cookies yesterday. DEEEE-LICIOUS! Worth the wait to get the bits.

I was disappointed in this recipe. I added over twice as much applesauce as called for, and they were still very, very dry.

Kathleen's Green Chile and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
Since this recipe was from a can of chiles, I felt free to "customize" it for our personal use. I used 1 can of Rotel Tomatoes (in place of the 15 oz. can of diced tomatoes) and a 6 oz. can of tomato juice. I did not add any water. Next time, I'll omit the tomato juice as well. It made a very good supper casserole. [Beware - the Rotel tomatoes make it quite spicy]

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
We don't care for smushy peppers, so not wanting to take a chance on boiling for 5 minutes, I microwaved them for about 45 seconds. Then, with the baking time, they came out just right for us.

Taco Pizza

Delicious! I use flour tortillas for the crust as we like it thin, thin, thin. Also, I mix the salsa with the refried beans for easier spreading. Need to make this again, soon.

Fruits of the Earth Dessert

This was more "juicy" this time. Next time I think I'll mix some of the dry ingredients (maybe 3/4 cup) from the topping into the fruit before I cut in the butter.

Creamy Potato, Ham and Broccoli Alfredo

We loved this recipe! I had no broccoli, so I threw in a can of green beans. The alfredo sauce was pretty bland, so I added 1 T. Italian seasonings. Perfecto!

Chicken Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
Definitely add more spices - I add freshly ground pepper and thyme. Sometimes I use celery soup in place of the chicken, but most any "cream of" soup will work. I also use a can of chicken if I am really in a hurry.
