I am 20 years old and I have been cooking for atleast 5 years and I LOVE it! I love to bake, cake, cookies, pastries! I can't get enough of it! Some day I want to own my own bakery back home in Texas! I plan on starting Pastry School in the next few years, when I can afford it. Don't really have any. I am not sure I would call anything I have done a triumph, but I made this GREAT pecan and cinnamon pie and served it at 4th of July 2007, I am nervous about my cooking so I asked my neighbors to try it and I had this one who told me they absolutely HATED any pecan pie! (shocking right?!) Anyways, my neighbor tried my pie because I would not leave him alone and he just loved it! He will only eat my pecan and cinnamon pie now! lol When I was first starting, I used to get tablespoon and teaspoon confused...a lot....I was baking some cookies one day and instead of one teaspoon of something I put in one tablespoon. Those were the blackest and worst tasting cookies I have ever made! lol
