Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2009
This was wonderful! The first thing you notice is how your whole house smells good! I found that Tyson has a pork roast that is around $10 for 5+ lbs. Since it is a thick roast, I cut it in 3/4" slices but not cutting all the way through. It cooks easier and is easier to cut. Buy a large bottle of red wine and enjoy while it's cooking!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
This is very good. Potato soup is supposed to be thick, so I'm a bit confused on the comments left. I did use real bacon, 2% milk and about 8 "fist" sized potatoes. I suggest cooling the potatoes down before scooping them out, burnt my fingers a few times.

Sweet Summer Fruit Bruschetta

Very good! Couldn't find the candied walnuts (live in a small town), so I just left them off and it was still very good. My "meat & potato" husband even liked it!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
This is so good! A bit time consuming with chopping everything up. I probably would have cut the chips smaller so that people wouldn't be tempted to double dip.

Southern Peach Cobbler

VERY Good! I doubled the recipe thinking 4 servings were not enough, but I shouldn't have. It says 4 servings, but feeds 8.

Tastes just like regular brownies, very good. No one knew they had zucchini in them.

The Best Chicken Salad Ever

I wouldn't say this was the best ever, but it was ok. Has a oatmeal consistancy which is a little strange. Not sure if I would make this again.

Slow Cooker London Broil

This is a very simple and tasty recipe. I used a shoulder roast, cooked from frozen for about 9 hours. Was very tender.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Made these for my husband to take to work. They were loved by all! They stay soft for several days which is all the time they need since they will be gone after that.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
This was a real hit in our family! The teenagers and kids (who are very picky) loved it too. I used 1/2 applesauce and 1/2 oil to reduce the calories. I made several batches to freeze. We took out our first frozen loaf the other day and it was as fresh and soft as the first day it was baked. It doesn't actually freeze completely, I think because of the oil and applesauce. I highly recommend this!

Greek Chicken Pasta

My husband and I loved this! He picked out the artichokes (he's a meat and potato man and doesn't like "green" things). This is definately one of my favorites. The feta cheese was a nice add-in.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
My husband and teen daughter did not care for this recipe at all. My daughter took one bite and refused to eat it. My husband ate it I think so he wouldn't hurt my feelings. I thought it was ok, but won't make it again.
