About this Cook
I am the mother of four boys and my husband makes five. I am under thirty. Currently I am staying at home so I have plenty of time to cook and experiment right now. Reading is a second love of mine I can easily enjoy four or five novels a week. Thank the lord my children are older otherwise this luxury would be denied to me. I have a obsession for trying new cleansers and am stll in search for the perfect does it all.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are Italian dishes.. I am told that nobody can beat my chicken cutlets( I have secret ingredient). I also come from a traditional Italian family, so alot of my teaching of course started with watching my mother make meatballs. Baking is another thing that I love, I love to use the fresh fruits of the season.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love the holiday season, most of the cooking falls on me and usually is at my home. We always have a traditional holiday meal along with an italian meal.
My cooking triumphs
I made 15 pounds of chicken cutlets in an hour for my husbands parents 30th wedding anniversary party along with everything else for the party.
My cooking tragedies
muffins I cannot cook a muffin from scratch without a recipe.

Pistachio Cake III
The pistachio cake recipies I have seen here seem to all mention one problem colapsing.I have found a very simple way to make this cake is to use one box of instant cake mix, one package of pistachio pudding(instant) one small container of sour cream and two eggs. Make sure you grease and flour the bundt pan. I also usualy bake at 300. For frosting use another package of the pistachio pudding and a pint of heavy wipping cream, whip this into a frosting and you are good to go. You can change up and add other ingredients as you wish such as chocolate chips and cherries. Ive also changed the cake and puddng mixes to make other flavors. I also reccomend making double the frosting because it is that good.
