About this Cook
Married for 19 years to a runner. I have two awesome daughters, 18 and 14.
My favorite things to cook
Easy, quick, and yummy. I love to bake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When I was a teen my mom used to snip recipes out of the newspaper to try. If it was a keeper then she put it in the ever growing pile in a drawer. If not, it got tossed.
My cooking triumphs
I baked my husband an angel food birthday cake for his first married one. It was awesome!
My cooking tragedies
I tried making rolls for Thanksgiving dinner the year my mom was in the hospital. I put too much salt and tried to figure out a way to salvage it. I had to throw it all out. I didn't start over. The task was too overwhelming.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
I am writing this review while the meatloaf bakes. I wish I had read the reviews before I put it in the pan. The brown sugar smells like it is burning, Hopefully it won't taste like burn't brown sugar. :( I put one star because I'm afraid I will be disappointed.

Zucchini Parmesan
This was very satisfying and flavorful. I sprinkled parmesean over the sauce and then added the mozzerella. I will be making this again. I might add chopped chicken next time.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas
This recipe should be called easy chicken burritos. I like my enchiladas with red sauce. I doubt I will make this again.
