This was DELICIOUS! and very filling. I added some frozen corn, green onions and peppers (none of these were pureed). I also did not puree some of the beans. It would be quite easy to add some canned chicken if you did not want it to be vegetarian (I would definitely have to do that if I had cooked for my entire family).

Made these a couple months ago and forgot to rate. These are very good, (except I don't like the fact that the bacon just doesn't really seem to cook. I mean I guess it does but its not appealing to eat. It just gives the chicken a good flavor. I think its ok to take off the bacon at the end and fry it crispy. Otherwise I'll end up throwing it away.) I really love the crunch of the pepper and the smooth feel of the cheese. I will make these again.****10/03/09 OK! I am finally writing this recipe down. Just dawned on me that I was not able to grill these; baked instead. That probably had alot to do with why my bacon had no crunch!

WOW! This is the first time I've ever made snickerdoodles. I have to say, I am impressed by this recipe! I was reading through the reviews when I found the mention of exchanging lemon juice for cr. of tartar. Thanks so much for that! I also just ended up using butter (no shortening). I've eaten snickerdoodles twice before, but they were always a little crispy for my liking. These are perfect!

First, want to say that I have a cold right now so...hard for me to taste that well. But I made just the sauce (made meatballs from a different recipe). The only thing I left out was 1 can of the paste. It was the pefect consistency. This was excellent (from what I could tell). My brother absolutely raved over it! Thanks MELINDA!

I just made the meatballs and they were VERY good! I did mix 1/2 lb ground beef with 1/2 lb italian sausage. Will definitely make again!

I hate creamed corn! BUT this recipe is delicious!! I accidentally set it on high to begin with. When I came back in an hour to stir it, I reduced it to low. Still cooked for the entire 4 hours. Think next time I'll cook it less! It was just a bit too thick. Also, I think this recipe would be really good with either some peppers or crumbled bacon.

I really liked this version. I remember my mom making these a while ago and they had no flavor. These had wonderful flavor! I did cook until almost all the liquid was gone. It still seemed a bit runny. Also, I didn't have white cheddar. used a bit more parmesan and just a sprinkle of mild cheddar.

WOW! I really liked this. Very unusual and totally delicious. I made half the recipe, took it to a church picnic, but still had some left. So, didn't get the same response as some of the other reviewers. BUT I found a new salad that I'll go to often! Thanks Busy Mom of 3!

Very good! I did add a bit of leftover chicken and a jalapeno to it. I also garnished with sour cream, but didn't have avocado. :( I will definitely make again, but probably make them a bit spicier. I like things a little hotter!

WOW!!!!!! This is the most amazing salsa in the world. It is a wonderfully refreshing summer dish. I left the extra sugar out and it was sweet enough. I made the chips in just a few short minutes (first tried to buy some just to speed things up but couldn't find any-once I made them found them to be as easy as opening a bag). I will definitely enjoy making this over and over again and experimenting with different fruits and preserves. ***UPDATE: Pineapple is good in this too! It is so fun to make just because its neat to see everyone grouped around the bowl eating and making yum sounds! LOL

This rice was delicious! I followed the recipe (minus the onions-because I was rushed and forgot-and the chicken) and served it with sesame chicken. My guests and family loved it! I have never even considered adding anything to my rice while it was cooking. Maybe I'll try something of my own soon. :)

This is delicious! Especially the second day. I thought my family would really balk at the title when I told them what I was making, but all of them (except for my youngest brother because he is quite picky) said it sounded interesting. Plus, they really liked it (oh, except for aforementioned brother). I will definitely make this again!

WOW!! These are awesome! I've made them twice in three days and both times my family ate them that night then for breakfast. After that there were no more. I used strawberries in them and it was pretty good. They were frozen and think it would have looked better if they had been fresh. My mom wants me to try them and adapt to lemon poppy seed next.

Made this for one night of our church's first missions conference. Everyone loved it! The flavor was extremely unusual and good.

My family really liked this, but I didn't follow the recipe exactly. Once I was ready to cook and took a close look at the ingredients, I decided it needed a bit more substance. SO...I added carrots and celery, more chicken, a bit more flour and nutmeg to compensate, and one more egg. There was only one small piece left and there are only 4 of us!
