I just prepared this and it was so delicious my husband declared it definitely a "keeper." Then I went back and re-read the recipe before I filed it. I made it with 8 ounces of cream cheese instead of 3 ounces! No wonder it was so rich and creamy. My bad sure turned out good!

I was so looking forward to making these muffins. I followed the recipe exactly and they were absolutely beautiful coming out of the oven. But they tasted bland, bland, bland. I was so disappointed. Finally, desperation took over and I poked holes in the top and poured Kahlua inside, then, I can't believe it either, I iced them with chocolate frosting. Yes, a muffin with frosting. But, they finally had flavor!

This is a fabulous recipe. I've received one proposal of marriage from a gentleman after he took one taste of these cookies. I've never altered the recipe, but some of the suggestions do sound good.
