Baked Asian-Style Honey Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Yummy! Both me and my husband loved this. Tastes just like the honey garlic sauce I used to buy from a jar! I used skinless/boneless chicken thighs, skipped the marinating cause they are so thin and just cooked at 350 for 25 minutes. YUM!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
These went over really well with my family. I personally feel that they were even better the next day! I used a mini muffin pan, and cooked for 8 minutes. Next time I'm going to cook for 10 minutes as the bottoms were a little chewy. Made about 48 cookies. Also substituted some of the peanut butter cups for mini butterfingers and they were just as yummy!

Corny Ham and Potato Scallop

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
My family wouldn't eat it. It had a weird smell, which I'm guessing was from the canned soup cooking all day??

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
They were really yummy. Next time I make them I am going to make the cookie a little thicker though so maybe they won't get so soft. The flavour was really peanut buttery though, excellent!

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
I substituted coffee cream for the whipping cream because that is what I had in the fridge. I also used 1 tsp almond extract instead of the vanilla. Turned out very well!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
Wow...that's all I can say. I was a little concerned with the ingredients, but followed it through to the end. The only thing I didn't add was poppy seeds, and I used white balsamic for the vinegar and it was the best salad I have ever tasted. My husband agrees too!

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

This recipe went over well with the entire family. This recipe is definately going to be on the rotation with our family. It's very rare that I am actually able to find a recipe that everyone enjoys.

I made this using margerine instead of butter, but everything else was the same. Amazing!

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
OMG...this was the best soup that I have ever tasted. My son is a really picky eater and he also loved the soup so much that he actually requested that I send some for lunch in his thermos! I altered the recipe slightly only adding 8 strips of bacon which was all I had in the house. I used skim milk and low fat cheddar and low fat sour cream and it worked out wonderfully!

Meat Loaf Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I gave this recipe a 3 because I found it to be dry. I will try again but I'm thinking of adding a can of oregano/basil tomatoe soup to the meat mixture and mixing the corn into the meat mixture. It's a great idea it just needs a little tweaking.

Zucchini Cookies

mmmmmmmmmmm good! I absolutely love zucchini bread and this tastes just like it. Although I wouldn't really think of them as a cookie, more like a little muffin top. I am definately going to make these again.

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
I made a little alteration to the recipe by adding a little dried parsley and garlic powder to the mix, then after they were cooked I only used about 2 tbsp. melted butter which was also mixed with parsley and garlic powder. Very good!
