Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
This is probably the best potato soup I have ever made or eaten! I sauted the ham, onion and celery along with some shredded carrots and a couple of garlic cloves in a little oil before adding the potatoes and water. I also substituted one of the cups of milk for a cup of heavy cream. It was absolutely delicious!! Can't wait to try other variations!
