Grew up in New England eating lobster and steamed clams several times a month. My Mom owned a business cooking for others. She is now 90 and is still cooking up a storm. She fueled my love for cooking. I am a nurse who works for an insurance company at home. I enjoy exploring new recipes to make and like to keep it healthy.

Brandied Shrimp with Pasta
This is a high end restaurant recipe!! Very, very good! My husband does not like tomatoes so I used fresh mushrooms instead. I put the garlic, salt, pepper, mushrooms in while sauteing the shrimp. I wanted the flavors to blend. Quick and fabulous!

Blueberry Streusel Muffins
Wonderful recipe. My husband loves these muffins. I used white sugar for the streusel instead of brown and doubled the amount of white sugar for a more crumbly mixture. Also added 1/4 cup more blueberries. This made 9 muffins for me. I filled each cup.
