Sweet And Sour Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
This was very good. I used boneless skinless chicken breast, but other than that, I followed the recipe exact. ( I think I may use more onion next time.) My family loved it!

Pina Colada Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
I thought that this was a great "root" recipe. I added garlic, onion, and a whole lime to the coconut milk. I pan fried the boneless pork chops until brown and then poured in all of the milk. Covered and simmered until done. The pork chops were very, very tender. I will make this again.

Stuffed and Wrapped Chicken Breast

This recipe is so easy and tasty, I usually get my kids to help me with it. I do suggest that you line your cookie sheet with Reynolds easy release foil. It really makes clean up so nice... And make sure to turn the broiler on at the end of the cooking to crisp up the bacon.

Bacon and Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
I have never been much of a "mac salad" person. But anything with bacon has got to be good, so I tried this one with a small modification. I used whole grape tomatoes instead of diced tomatoes. I love the sweet taste, and for my guest, if they didn't like tomatoes (which I knew of a few who didn't) they could easily remove them. Now every time we have a family get together, I bring the macaroni salad.

Caribbean Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
It doesn't sound like it would be good, with all those different flavors, but it really was amazing. It has the versitiliy that allows even picky eaters to enjoy this. For instance, my husband didn't like the dressing, he found it a little too sweet, but our daughters loved it and "smothered" the salad with it. We did do a few changes to the original recipe. It was winter and so we cut the chicken up in small pieces and sauted it in some of the marinade. We also used mild peppers insted of jalapenos (sp). I would also suggest to use crushed pineapple insted of chuncks...easier to spread around. Thank you again... I will be making this again and again.

Busy Day Barbeque Brisket

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
Here in Texas, putting a brisket in a crock pot is unheard of....but this is amazing. I've made this a few times and the first time I followed the recipe exactly. It was good but honestly it was a little too "hot" for the kids. So now I omit the hot pepper, add more garlic and onion, and use a honey barbecue sauce. No matter how big the brisket is, there never seems to be left overs. Thank you

Kapusta

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
I have been making this every Christmas for the last few years. You don't have to add the sugar in this dish. I've been making it without and it is just fine. Also for anyone who is watching their weight, this is a wonderful side dish.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
My family loves these and I have made them three times in less than a month. I've even sent a bunch to my son who is stationed in Japan so that he can "taste" home.... My only suggestion is to store them in a tin or air tight container. I left some out on a plate over Christmas and they did get a little hard....nothing a glass of milk couldn't fix.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
I love oatmeal raisin cookies and these have got to be one of the best that I have made. I read a lot of the comments and followed their advice, I used pumpkin pie spice. I will make these as often as my hips will allow.

Polish Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
Very good cookies... The recipe makes a LOT of cookies so we cut it in half and it was just fine. We sprinkled them with colored sugar before baking to give them a little "Christmas sparkle" and they baked up beautiful. I will add this to my yearly holiday cookie baking
