Retired Science teacher Anything and everything that take my fancy I brine and roast the 20 lb+ turkey for the Thanksgiving Day family gathering. My three layer giganto chocolate cake with vanilla baker's icing outside and mocha icing (same recipe vanilla icing but add cocoa powder and espresso coffee powder to the pudding mixture) between the layers which I sometimes spice up with with my home made choco syrup. The above mentioned cake the first I time I made it. I used the frosting recipe that was with the cake recipe. Try balancing 3 layers of cake with a soupy frosting as you try to assemble it. Disaster. Had to pin the cake together with skewers.
