I am still adjusting to being a mom even though my son is nearing his second birthday. I now spend all my time in the kitchen with him attached to my leg. He is entering the terrible two's early and spends most his time trying to suck the blood out of my calf. I do have the bite marks to prove it.

My favorite family cooking traditions
I am still rebelling! I grew up on casseroles, slow-cookers, and meatloaf. It took me over 10 years of marriage to finally make my own meatloaf. I introduced my mom to real garlic (she thought it only came powdered).
My cooking triumphs
I put together a 38 page cookbook with pictures of all my favorites for my family and friends as a Christmas present.

I can not do a gravy that doesn't separate.
