Chicken Noodle Soup from scratch is the best.

We make pumkin pie from scratch with fresh pumkin every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I know what a dish needs by the smell. The nose knows and it rarely is wrong.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I made beef stew, it flopped so bad that it took me a couple of years to try again.

Quick and Easy Tuna Casserole
I have made this twice now, and a little different each time. This recipe is a good starter to adjust to your own taste. I especially like how quick it is because I am not very good at planning ahead for dinner!

Ham and Cheese Bowties
I'm eating this now... I only had macaroni, which is fine. I was hesitant about the mustard, so I only added a small amount. I used 1 pound of ham because 4 ounces didn't seem like enough. I used a different kind of cheese, because it was what I had. It is a hit at our house!

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread
I LOVE this bread! I make it 2-3 times a month, and each time it dissapears. I have a family of 6, so I like the fact that it makes 3 loaves so there is plenty to go around. I have also used the dough to make cinnamon rolls, and they have come out wonderful as well!
