Grain and Nut Whole Wheat Pancakes

The best pancakes ever bar none!!!! I also make waffles with this recipe just as it is. I wouldn't change a thing. I searched for a whole wheat pancake recipe and this is the first one that I tried, because of the high rating from more than a hundred cooks. Now I refuse to take my time trying another, (I'm sure there are more just as good...I just don't know which one) I've never been so lucky...so great a recipe on the first try. Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

I made these for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them...also asked me for the recipe. My husband wants them again for Christmas!! Thanks for a great way to make mashed potatoes. By the way I used red potatoes and left the skins on. I used FAT FREE sour cream and cut the butter to 1/2 stick...delicious! And just to let you know ...DON'T use white potatoes...they will turn out like "glue" ALWAYS use RED POTATOES!!
