About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Breakfast: Bacon & my famous "scramblefried" eggs, or my brother-in-law's favorite, wafflecakes... Appetizer: Home-made motz sticks, nachos... Dinner: Melt-in-your-mouth Chicken Parmesan, home-made fried chicken, pork roast, beef roast, shrimp scampi, spaghetti & meatballs... Desert: Brownies from scratch, chocolate mouse, ice cream cake...
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a long line of Italian cooks, so my Spaghetti sauce is unbelievable, my meatballs melt in your mouth, and my lasagna is to die for. My husband thinks that I do amazing things with chicken and pork chops too!
My cooking triumphs
Chocolate Cheesecake, scratch brownies, Tiramisu, deep fried potato chips and mozarella sticks, Red Lobster style cheddar biscuits, Chocolate Mouse... etc ect...
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make my own sloppy-joes once, and that failed miserably... Everything else seems to come out OK in the end!

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies
The cookies burned. I tried both dark and light pans, it seems like either my oven is off, which I doubt, or the time/temperature is off. One way or another, if you try these cookies make sure that you watch them like a hawk. The concept of a whole jar of PB is awsome, but these were not quite as creamy or nearly as moist as described.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken
Breading came out a little thin on only one coat, so I tried two and it came out much better. Also great recipe for motzarella sticks, with 3 layers of coating. Not a 5-out-of-5 because my husband didn't care for it.
