About this Cook
25 yrs. old. Love to bake, take care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats and my husband. Work in the restaurant supply industry, spent quite a few years before that working in restaurants.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies are my favorite thing to make. Cake, pies, cheesecake, cupcakes, too! Other than that I like to make dinner for my family and try new things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Neither my mom or dad are big cooks... so starting at a pretty young age I was given free reign to try what I wanted in the kitchen.
My cooking triumphs
merengues, bridal shower cake
My cooking tragedies
I've had plenty, the most recent being some horrifying mix of ground beef, frozen spinach, eggs, and curry!

Fudge Brownies I
Didn't really do it for me... followed another reviewers suggestion and added extra chocolate. Was really not brownie like at all, just turned out like a pan of chocolate fudge.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Easy, good... I used regular bottled ranch dressing in place of the ranch seasoning (didn't have any on hand) Very spicy, a good alternative to BBQ pork or chicken sandwiches.

Simple Country Ribs
My first time making ribs, and they turned out amazing! I used boneless country ribs, but followed all the instructions exactly. Thanks for the great recipe!
