About this Cook
love trying new recipes im a mom of seven married for 8 years like to sew a little (hate cutting) but the sewing if fun
My favorite things to cook
anything my whole family loves and treats for my kids class room i love doing that!
My favorite family cooking traditions
well my family is still pretty young but every holiday my boys love to help me in the kitchen so cooking with my boys over the holidays would be my favorite
My cooking triumphs
well lets see i've learn to bake and not out of a box(about a year now)and i dont come from a bakeing family the ladies anyway and i can make gravy big deal to me big!
My cooking tragedies
none so far that I can think of but when I was much younger my mother and aunts were cooking greens and they had gone to the store so I was going to be helpful and start the greens(without cleaning them)so when they where done and we started to eat them the grees had dirt, sand maybe even some bugs lol they were pretty gritty needless to say it was bad!

Pecan Pie V
ok lets see where to start yum-O!!!! I have two huge pecan trees in my back yard and this is the first time i have ever made pecan pie. I followed this recipe to the T the only thing i had to do diff. was to bake it a little longer about and hour 20 it was still a bit runny after the time given on the recipe other than that it came out GREAT :0) I dont no if it was because the pecan where fresh off the tree but this was truly a delicious pie thanks for sharing Brooke
