I gave this recipe four stars, because it looked and smelled great. However, it is not the best recipe that I have tried and it was actually a bit on the bland side.

These are consumed faster than the time it takes to assemble them! A crowd favorite! Place in crockpot and drizzle light maple syrup on top to serve. Keep crockpot on low or warm.

This recipe is great for holidays! It is very delicious, yet so, so simple to make. I have used low-fat cream of mushroom soup and it is just as great. There really is no need to add any extras, especially fattening cheeses. This side dish is great-- as is!! Be sure sprinkle the fried onions on top and completely cover so every portion has that nice, crispy top.
