Made as written, I did add lemon and zest during last 30 min. as other people mentioned. They turned out perfect Wonderful flavor. Really good recipe, thanks for sharing!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
You can always mess around with a recipe, it's fun to customize. This recipe is very good as written. Don't waste the opportunity to make 3 loaves. They get eaten quickly. You can always freeze or give away a treat.
