About this Cook
I am a married, mother of 4 (13,11,3, and a newborn). I love to cook. I try to cook at least 2 meals a day when we are all at home. At any time in my house you can find a food show playing, with me and/or my husband deciding to make a meal or how to alter it to make it our way.
My favorite things to cook
pasta's, baked goods, and oddly enough, "dips". I make many awesome dips that i can turn into meals, or use as the highlight of meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Chicken Divan, Cookies

Cheesy Fried Potatoes
Our family really liked this. I tweeked to our taste- added 2 tsp each of onion salt and garlic salt(+pepper) to egg and no reg. salt. i used cojack cheese and 1/4 yellow onion. i also used 5 med. potatoes with 6 eggs(could've used 8) and 4 slc. bacon. oh, i also microwaved the taters(peeled and cut in half) for 3 minutes first. No leftovers of this one!

Potato Chips
It was too bad. This came out much better than I thought it would. My husband was suprised I made them in the nuker. But it was alot of work. Having to watch them and having to do so many batches. I stopped when the house started to smell odd, and my hubbie said it was due to not having enough "stuff" in the nuker. i think the oven or the fryer is the best bet though.

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff
I omitted the chopped mushrooms and used 3 packets of brown gravy mix and 1 packet of onion gravy mix. i also cooked my ground beef with chopped onions and garlic. this gave it a better flavor, but it is still missing something. this is a great base, but i will continue to tweek it.
