This was pretty good... a bit much butter for me... I didn't melt the butter, but I did soften it, and the end result was a bit too buttery and rich for me. I will also try the some reviewer's tips and add lemon juice next time, because the apples were a little dry (although soft), and I could have used a bit more tang to the apples. I do have a pet rat, though, and she came up and stole a piece from my plate... so at least it's rat approved! :O

Very good! I baked them for 50 minutes in a 9 X 11 pan and I probably still should have baked them longer because they were kind of gooey (I was concerned about overbaking). That's trial and error for ya, though. I'll definitely make them again, though.
