Martha Washington Candies

I grew up making these every Christmas with my mom and sister. They are fun to make and everyone goes nuts over them. My mom's recipe is a little different and since they always came out perfectly I want to share how we did it. We used 1 stick of butter instead of margarine, 2 boxes confectioners sugar, 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 teas. vanilla, 6-8 squares unsweetened chocolate, 1/2 cake parafin and we didn't put coconut in ours. After dipping the balls into the chocolate using a toothpick, we would remove the toothpick while slightly pressing a half pecan over the whole. The parafin gives a beautiful sheen to the candy!

Amber's Sesame Chicken

We loved this! I tripled the sauce like many others said and I added some fresh grated ginger. Served over Jasmine rice with a salad, wonderful. Will definitely make many more times!

King Ranch Chicken Casserole I

This was very easy and delicious. To save time, I used a roasted chicken from the grocery store. I also did as some other viewers and lined casserole dish with flour tortilla strips instead of chips. Also, I saute'd the onions before adding them to the mix, used sour cream instead of the cream of mushroom & fresh cilantro. It was great! There are so many ways to change this up.

Easy Beef Stroganoff

I normally make my mom's beef stroganoff recipe that bakes for 3 hours and calls for round steak instead of ground beef but I wanted something quick the other night so I made this. It was wonderful!!!! Great for week night!

Allana's Excellent Potato Soup

OMG! This was incredibly easy and everyone loved it! You can even substitue "Simply Potatoes" diced potatoes (in the refrigerator section) if you're in a hurry! Great comfort soup!

Asparagus and Mushroom Puff Pastry Pie

This is so easy to make and it is wonderful!! My boyfriend doesn't really like asparagus but had two helpings of this and loved it!! I roasted my asparagus but followed the rest of the recipe like it was. Will make again!

Baked Potato Soup V

This soup is wonderful but you really need to thin it out when heating it up after it's been refrigerated. I thinned it with a little chicken stock and milk while heating it up. It really sticks to your ribs!!

Chicken with Grape Tomatoes and Fried Basil

This is absolutely delicious!! My best friend & I made it last night. The flavors are perfect together. The only change we made was to thicken the sauce with a tablespoon of cornstarch and we served it over Jasmine rice, man was it devine!!

Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu

I made this last night and my boyfriend and two of our friends raved over it. It was so easy and really good. I took another reviewers advice & coated the chicken pieces in Italian bread crumbs before browning the chicken. Also added a little dried thyme & half and half to the sauce. Served it over Jasmine rice. Delicious!
