I've been using this recipe for a couple of years now and they are ALWAYS a BIG hit! Everyone always BEGS me for the recipe, but I don't give it out ;-) My kids won't even eat store cookies anymore, they hold out for the real deal. FANTASTIC recipe!

Strawnana Bread

Ham with Honey and Brown Sugar Glaze

Wow, wow, wow...this was a complete hit! Just finished making/eating for a wonderful easter dinner! I made the glaze substituting the fresh juice from the orange with actual oj, maybe 1/4 c. I injected the ham w/ the glaze, while also basting about every 15 minutes. This turned out fantastic...great recipe :-)

Black Forest Cake I

Holy crow! No kidding, honest to goodness, tastes like bakery quality cake! It definitely is very time consuming and a bit tricky at times (patting the crumbs to the side of the cake) but worth the work and the time! I used canned cherry pie filling and it was out of this world. Also, the whipped topping/icing is a bit difficult to work with so beware of that, but the flavor was unbelievable! I will make this again for sure, as long as time affords me to ;-)

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

WOW...this is awesome! I took the advice of someone else who tried this recipe and used the whole box (1 lb) of macaroni. I also used 1/2 c. of butter + one addt'l tblspoon of flour. I made this as a side dish to a meatloaf, cooking it at the same time, so I baked at 350 for about 30 minutes. The cream cheese was not an over powering flavor AT ALL! This is a fantastic recipe!

Chicken Fricassee

OMG...this was unbelievable! I made it for my whole family (children included) and it was a bit hit! I made 8 chicken thighs in total which required quite a bit more flour for breading the chicken and depending on how you like your gravy, thicker or thinner, you can add however much flour you see fit. I made this with mashed potatoes and the gravy was so wonderful on top of them! A little time consuming to make, but worth it in the end!

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

A real kid pleaser! My kids love food and they don't turn down much, but their friends are a different story. I made this for a few of their picky friends and it was a smash hit! It's not only appealing to kids, but my husband and I both love it too!

Pasta with Peas and Sausage

Delicious pasta! I used mild italian sausage and after it was done browning, I removed, sliced then returned back to the pan to cook all the way through. Very good, everyone enjoyed it!

Barbeque Chicken

This was absolutely delicious! The chicken was so moist and fell right off the bone. I did use chicken thighs, but I would imagine that this would be an awesome recipe for any kind of chiken. The sauce has great flavor!

Sausage and Bow-tie Pasta Florentine

Sloppy Joes

A really yummy recipe! Depending on if you REALLY like saucey sloppy joes (which we do) this recipe may or may not require to cut down on either ketchup or bbq sauce. I put the amount of onion called for and it turned out great. The flavor from the onion isn't too much because it's cooked down quite a bit while browning the beef. We'll be having this again...for sure!

I didn't have any brandy, so I substituded for more rum & it was delish. Also, used pinot grigio for a less sweet flavor since the fruit and sprite made it sweet enough :)

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

These were the absolute best! I did follow some other peoples sugg & used only 2 cups water, 6 cups flour & double the sugar (I used brow.) It did take take 2 hours each time for the dough to rise properly, but WELL worth the wait!
