Corned Beef and Cabbage

By far the best Corned Beef I have ever had! Before this recipe I never liked corned beef. I like to prepare everything (minus the veggies) and marinate the corned beef in it over night.

Dill Pickles

This was the first time I have ever made homemade pickles. They turned out great! I love my pickles crunchy! Thanks for the great recipe! PS if you like spicy pickles add a Jalapeno ! They are very yummy

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Very Good! This is the only pumpkin pie I make for Thanksgiving! The only change I make is using Pumpkin Pie Spice II (on this site) instead of the pumpkin pie seasonings you buy from the store!

My Best Clam Chowder

I love this! I am from San Francisco and this is the closest recipe I have found. I have made a few changes for my personal liking, I use 5 cans of clams, clam juice instead of water, and leave out the carrots. Very Yummy.

Zucchini Herb Casserole

I am glad I read the reviews on this recipe before making it, because it may have turned out rather bland otherwise. I added 2 more cloves of garlic, tripled the amount of seasoning (except the salt),used feta cheese. I also substituted white rice with instant brown rice.

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

These cookies are flat and just break apart. I did what others suggested, I used butter, mixed the butter for 5 min, added powder sugar, mixed another 5 min, added flour in 3 parts, mixed for 2 mins after each part was added. Then 10 mintues with everything together. Cooked at 325 for 5 mins, cookies were not done at all cooked another 10 mins let cookies cool and they crumbled as I tried to remove them from cookie sheet.

Dog Treats I

I have 3 dogs. 2 of my dogs will eat anything, my 3rd dog is very selective (she has turned down expensive treats) and they all love these treats. I have replaced the cheese with peanut butter once, and my dogs didn't seem to like them as well. Make sure you keep these treats in a air-tight container. I will continue making these!
