About this Cook
Oh Wow.....about me?? Really? Ok.....as you can tell already....im a mommy. I work 10 hour days...5 days a week doing clerical office work at a large company. I'm very proud to say that I love where I live and have never moved far away. I love the outdoors and the change of seasons. I love music and really enjoy my family and friends. I love to cook...duh!! I also enjoy the arts. I enjoy antiques and history of places I visit. I furnish my home with a array of objects we have picked up over the years....and I don't have a specific style...other than what I consider cozy. I love to experience new ideas. I really don't watch much tv. I don't watch the news any more (too depressing) I'm better off without it! I love to camp out on the river....(we have a campsite on the river) I enjoy my pets (1 dog...2 kittys) Wow....there is alot about me. My attitude on life always depends on how much sleep I got the night before!!! (ha ha)
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking on charcoal. I enjoy cooking hearty soups and making side dishes!

Home-Style Vegetable Beef Soup
This was very good. I felt as if something was missing. I didn't use V8. I used a "off brand" which probably was the difference. This was very tasty regardless.

Cube Steak Parmigiana
I loved this! I didn't have saltines so i used bread crumbs. Turned out fabulous! It's a perfect combination of everything and very very tender. Something very different. Economical too! Cube steak is my new thing!!!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
This was like the title says DELICIOUS! It was really easy...yes there is some chopping involved, but it's not that bad! I chop a lot more just making a simple pasta salad! So I was happy to find this creamy recipe. The family liked it...my toddler liked it..which is a good indication that it's yummy. I didn't have any celery so I used dried celery leaves instead. Worked out fine! I will make this again and again...YUMMY
