Slow Cooker Thai Pork with Rice

Excellent cake like cookie. Mine turned out like little muffin tops, Yummo!! I used 2 cups zuccs and added about 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Easy-for-Kids Chocolate Muffins

Like others have said, not a super sweet muffin, and not a real chocolatey taste. Be careful not to overfill, they don't puff but spread over top of muffin pan.

Welfare Cake

Welfare Cake has an interesting taste. Not as sweet as a boxed cake imo. It is very moist though with a dark chocolate color and unbelievably easy to whip up!!

These lacked a real southwest flavor to us. We added a bunch more cumin, maybe some tomatoes and cilantro would help season the filling a bit more. Were still good though.

Old Time Soft Sugar Cookies

These cookies are my dad's favorite!!! We sprinkle a bit of sugar and cinnamon on top once they come out of the oven. Be sure to keep these in a sealed container so they stay nice and soft.

Pickle Rolls

Don't be afraid to put a nice thick layer of cream cheese on the tortilla's. I made them a bit skimpy and they didn't stick together as well. Very easy to make and they disappeared quickly.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Everyone at the BBQ loved this slaw. They swore I must have bought it from KFC. It was a bit sweet for me, but the all thought it was perfect. Why buy premade dressing, this was so super simple.

Easy Oatmeal Muffins

I made them with applesauce instead of the oil. They stuck to my muffin papers I think due to the substitution. They still tasted great with butter and jam. Not to sweet, which was nice.

Definately a different recipe. It was a lot of fun to see baking in the oven, it bubbles and twists in a great way. I ommitted the cheese as well. Served with powdered sugar and syrup. Tasted just like french toast.

Vickie's Beer Bread

This recipe turned out wonderful. Hubby works at a beer distributor and took this for a potluck lunch. It was the first to go. I added some shredded mozzerela, minced dried garlic, and parsley to the flour before adding the beer to make it "Italian". I also split into 2 loaves and allowed the batter to rise in the pans for about 30 minutes before baking. They turned out lighter and fluffier this way. Great recipe!!

Bar Stool Pretzels

Great way to jazz up plain old pretzels. I used only 3/4 cup of butter and they turned out perfect. To blend, I put my pretzels in a ziploc bag and poured the butter mixture inside; sealed it up and tossed to coat. Got great coverage that way.

Brown Sugar Muffins

I followed the recipe exactly as is and had great success. The creamed brown sugar and shortening doesn't quite want to blend into the milk, but turned into great little pockets of sweetness inside the muffins. I also ended up with 18 muffins instead of 12.

Microwave Tater-Tot Casserole

This recipe is definately cheesy! I nuked it in a round dish as mentioned by the author, it helped a bit, but there were still cool pockets. The tater tots started to break down when stirring it all together. I believe frozen hash browns would work just as well.
