Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup

This soup is very thick and filling. I think I used almost a whole gallon of milk! It was very good though. I didnt have any celery on hand so I used small diced carrot for an extra veggie. I also used regular long grain rice because I didnt have brown rice. My kids loved this! I think this recipe feeds more than 8 people. More like 10-12.

Never Enough Green Bean Casserole

I didnt think this tasted too far off from regular green bean casserole. I didnt really taste the bacon in it so you probably could leave it out or add more.

Spicy Smoky Macaroni and Cheese with Turkey Bacon

This was very good! I couldnt find smoked paprika anywhere so I ended up using a little bit of liquid smoke and some chipotle in adobo for a little smokey flovor and some heat.

These were sooo good! Very moist! I didnt have any pumpkin pie spice on hand so I used the Pumpkin Pie Spice I recipe on here. I will be making these again very soon!

Basil Tomato Rolls

Ok so my rolls did not rise at all! I followed the recipe to a tee except I didnt add tomatoes and I sauteed the garlic with the onions in the beginning. The filling had a really good flavor. A little too salty for my taste. I am going to give these another try to figure out what went wrong and I will maybe just add a pinch of salt rather than 1 and 1/2 tsp.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

I am not really sure what went wrong here! The cookies turned out really flat and thin. I used brand new never opened baking soda. So that wasnt the problem. They did have really good flavor so I dont think I will give up on them just yet!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

This was simple yet delicious! I fried the chicken in olive oil and I also used homemade spaghetti sauce I had frozen. My chicken breasts took a little longer than 20 mins and I kind of figured they would so I didnt add the cheese until the last 10 mins. Great recipe! I will make this again :)

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

The only think I changed was that I used lowfat mayo and I grilled the meat until medium rare and sliced it up. Next time I think I will try using ribeye because the the round steak was a little tough. Very tasty recipe!

Supreme Scalloped Potatoes

Omg this is sooooo good! If I could eat this everyday I would! I didnt boil the potatoes like the recipe states. I sliced them and layered them with the cheese and the sauce. It also took around an hour and a half to bake. I also used lowfat sour cream. I'd give this 10 stars if I could!!!

Shredded Beef Enchiladas

We thought the sour cream/cheese sauce for this was kind of bland. The meat was excellent! I definatly will make the meat part of this recipe again in the future for tacos. Next time I will add some fresh garlic and maybe some green pepper to it while its simmering.

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

This was pretty good. The toppings are a must to really taste like a true baked potato! I added an extra potato and I still think it needed more chunks of potato. I served this with mini reubens. Yummy!

Baked Buffalo Wings

These were pretty good. I was expecting them to be more saucy than what they were. They had good flavor, though. Next time I think I will double the sauce and reserve some aside to brush the wings with while baking.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I thought this bread was amazing! I was worried because I accidently bought canned ready made pumpkin pie filling but it turned out great! I only used 2 cups of sugar because 3 seemed a bit much for my liking. I plan on making this often especially during the cold holiday season! Thanks for the recipe!

Kentucky Grilled Chicken

This marinade is very good! I used two cloves of fresh minced garlic and I also used boneless skinless chicken breasts. I halved the recipe since I only used 4 breasts. I already put the chicken in the marinade before reading to reserve some aside for basting but it still turned out very yummy! Next time I will use bone in chicken for more flavor and marinate longer.

Dirty Diapers

I won a prize for best tasting appetizer at a party that had a theme that I wont get into. I called them dirty underwear. I added a little bit of shredded cheese to bind the filling together to make it easier to fill. Very tasty! I also left the crescents whole.
