Kay's Shortbread
Delicious! Crumbly and not too sweet, which is authentic. Can be sweetened more if you like. Could be used for a lot of variations - I look forward to making a lavender version!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
These are better if you substitute 2 teaspoons baking powder for the cream of tarter. I've made them both ways, and the cream of tarter gives them a bitter taste.
