About this Cook
I graduated Wolfcreek Job Corps in Oregon when I was 17 years old. I graduated as head baker and received my culinary arts degree. I have been cooking all sorts of food since I was about 12 years old and it has come natural to me since then. I like to create and try new things everytime I make a recipe.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook has got to be desserts. Not because I always enjoy eating sweets but because I believe desserts are the one food that you can be most creative with and just about any food tastes good as a dessert.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't really have any tradtions but I am trying to make some.
My cooking triumphs
The only thing I can think of is my peanut butter cookies. Not a single person who has tried them ever said anything bad about them. I created the recipe one day when I couldn't find the perfect peanut butter recipe anywhere.
My cooking tragedies
Other than burning a few things by accident because I forgot I was cooking I don't think to many bad things has happened to me while I was cooking.

OREO(R) and Fudge Ice Cream Cake
This was very good. I followed the advice on doubling the recipe however I dont recommend doing this unless you have a lot of people to serve. I personally found it way to chocolately though and so next time I will try using a different kind of pudding for the filling and I will also double up on the cool whip since there wasn't nearly enough. Overall though it was very good.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
This recipe definately has some good flavor but I only gave it 3 stars because there is a lot of room for improvement. I love how basic the ingredients are but adding more will help with the taste. First it is kinda sweet so I would recommend using either a more tangy bbq sauce or just cutting out the brown sugar all together since its really not needed. Also cut the chicken into pieces before cooking because the meat tends to get dry in the center. I also added chopped onion and garlic and I would also try it with some pineapple. I served it over rice instead of a baked potato and prefer it that way. Good recipe but my variation is the only way I would eat it again.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
These cookies are wonderful. I carefully read other memebers reviews and the only change I made was added 1 teas. baking powder along with the baking soda and cream of tarter. They came out fluffy and soft. Very yummy!
