My grandmother introduced me to this salad at a very young age. She used to make it in her cafe, almost 40 years ago. I use this salad at holidays and for church potlucks, and it never gets a bad review. In fact, this is the same recipe that my family has used for many years. I love this salad!!1

I made this recipe today for a church potluck and it turned out wonderful. The only change I made to it was after mixing it by hand, I used an electric mixer and the mix got thicker the more I mixed. After only 3 1/2 hours in the refridgerator it set up perfectly and had rave reviews of it at the potluck. Thanks for such an easy recipe!
