Gale's Grilled Shrimp
Followed exact. Used the outdoor grill. Best grilled shrimp I've ever had. Sometimes less is more. Simple ingredients. You can't go wrong with beer and garlic.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
I know this would be five stars with the beer. I, however, used two cans of low sodium chicken broth instead. Why chicken broth instead of beer? I don't waste my beer in food - I'm on a budget. Why two cans of broth? With one can it seemed too much like a stew or chili - too thick. I wanted more of a soup-like texture. Everything else followed exact. Huge hit! Everyone went nuts over this! SO EASY. I will definately be making this again. Hopefully right after payday so I can spare a couple beers and try it that way.

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie
I think I figured it out. I did not use a 10 inch pan(My fault)- I used a 9 inch deep dish. What a disaster. After 35 minuted I could tell the middle was still extremely soupy so I ended up baking for a total of 50 minutes and it did not burn but was still completely gushy in the middle. I figured maybe it needed to cool and "set" over night in the fridge or something. Nope. Still liqiudy 10 hours later. I followed EXACT I thought. Didn't realize the pan size. My ovens are accurate and I've been baking since I was 9. I know what I'm doing. I'll give it two stars hoping it was just the pan size confusion but I doubt it.
