Sausage Spinach Alfredo Lasagna
This was delicious!!A real hit in my house. This is a great basic recipe for spinach alfredo lasagna. I think the next time I make this I may even use chicken for a different kick. I followed the recipe almost to the t... except I sauteed fresh mushrooms and onions and garlic and then added to my jarred Alfredo sauce with fresh spinach not frozen..... I also used two jars of the Alfredo sauce I used ragu parmesan light I think.... I had in the cupboard....I also added a bit of white wine to my sauce and one can diced tomatoes. I used part skim ricotta and mixed with mozzarella and sharp cheese and parmesan cheeses. I also used reg lasagna noodles as I didn't have enough left of the no boil lasagna. I made enough to fill a foil lasagna pan (deep) and I made it yesterday and there is about 2 squares left!!! usually I have a lot more left over when I make my regualar lasgna!! I also used a garlic cheese sausage that I get from my local butcher. This is a keeper and will go in my reg rotation of recipes... thanx Jobarbara for posting!!

Grandma B's Bean Soup
This was a great recipe to use for the bag of Bean Soup Mix I had. I am trying to incorporate more beans in our diets to cut back on the red meat in our diets and this was a pleasant change. I pretty much followed the recipe as written but incorporated a few more things that I had on hand.... Instead of diced tomatoes as others had suggested I put in the remaining part of tomatoe sauce that I had in jar in refrigerator. I also added some Sazon, Sofrito, Ham seasoning, I used chicken broth also.. and about 1- 2 cups chopped turkey ham and of course the potatoes. I served with my homemade cornbread and viola dinner! It was a great hit my husband loved it. However I did not cook in crock pot I cooked in a big soup pot all day..... I made Sat and today is MOnday and there isn't even enough left to freeze!!! This is a great recipe for me as I love Soups!! Thanx for Sharing Grandma B!

Yellow Squash Casserole
This was great! Probably the best squash casserole I have ever had! And my family devoured all in one day!! We always seem to have an over abundance of squash all at once so this was a great recipe to use it up!! I used a mixture of zucchini and yellow squash...I did not change a thing!! It was excellent just the way it states!! Thanx so much for sharing Rosecart!!
