Sweet Potato Pie VII

this pie was excellent! i love how you don't need a lot of butter for this one! i made one with the original recipe and one altered: i used 1/2 c of both white and brown sugar,added 1/2 tsp of both cinnamon and nutmeg. both came out great served with ice cream!

Chewy Crispy Coconut Cookies

oh yeah this is a keeper! with another's tips, i left out baking powder and salt, toasted the coconut and added chocolate chips and walnuts. these were great!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Very tasty and moist. Instead of the crumb topping, I topped with almonds, macadamia nuts and pecans. Next time I'll try the crumb; I'm sure they'll be even more fantastic that way!

French Breakfast Puffs

These did taste like doughnuts. They're a great alternative to those fried doughnuts and are quick to prepare. I split mine after they cooled a little bit more and dolloped plain whipped cream, chocolate cream or stawberry cream on the bottom halves then replaced the tops.

Whipped Cream Cake II

Yummy and so light, fluffy and flavorful! I made two layers and filled with sliced strawberries and pastry cream; frosted the outside with buttercream frosting and decorated with more strawberries. Excellent plain cake recipe!

Blueberry Buckle

Oh yeah this is so good! I replaced the 2c blueberries with quarterd strawberries and only made half the amount of topping suggested. It pairs perfectly with vanilla ice cream. Yummy!

Hazelnut Chiffon Cake

The combination of chocolate and hazelnuts are awesome! I made a layer cake using three 9" round pans. I left out the coffee and it turned out really great! Next time I will add the coffee flavor.

Deeelicious! I used two big layers and filled with bavarian cream and strawberries, then frosted with the recipe's frosting. The frosting is heavenly, i could just eat it by itself!
