About this Cook
I'm a Japanese and live in the country side of Japan. I started cooking seriously because I got homesick for American food. Well, I have lived in the US for 5 years for studying. It's been 4 years since I came back to Japan. About a year ago I suddenly satrted missing American food. Thanks for this site. ;D Now I can cook American and International dishes for myself. ;)
My favorite things to cook
I like making anything looks good or sounds good. But especially I like to bake cookies and cakes!!

Pork Chops and Sauerkraut
I took Linda's Advise and followed her direction. Pork became tender and it was delicious! One thing I changed was that I added 2 tbs of apple compote, since I didn't have apple juice nor an apple. The kraut was still tart to my taste so I added another tbs of brown sugar. Thanks Linda for your great advise.

Dishpan Cookies II
I would give 7 stars!! They were chewy, soft, and aromatic. Mmmm...I can just sink in a kitchen chair and eat whole...Yummy...;D

Sweet Potato Minestrone
I was a little skeptical about making this soup when I first read the recipe. However, the sweet potatoes gave nice sweetness and aroma into the soup. It was really delicious. My family gave 5 stars as well.
