Salmon Marinade
Pretty darn good, but you need a taste for the "Wustershire" sauce to really enjoy the taste. Other reviews commented negatively about the lime--again, it's a matter of taste. Lime worked for my palette, although the second time around I used lemon and halved the Worcestershire and the fish came out just fine. The great thing about all the recipes you find on this site is that you try them and then make your own subtle changes to suit your tastes if needed. I believe the original is still worth trying.

BBQ Bill's Citrus Smoked Chicken
I tried this one last week, not on a smoker but a Traeger wood pellet grill. I used some cheap Safeway brand lemon-lime pop. I could've smoked it on the grill, but chose to cook it like I always do whole chickens on the Traeger....45 minutes on High, 45 minutes on Smoke, but added 10 more minutes or so on the Smoke setting. One of the best chickens I've ever cooked, but you gotta like the citrus flavor. I imagine the flavor on mine was more subtle than if I'd smoked it for 10 hours like the author did. Very fine recipe, and very easy.

Rib Eye Steaks with a Soy and Ginger Marinade
Tried this today on my Traeger wood pellet grill, using a combination of maple and garlic flavored pellets. (If you haven't grilled on a Traeger, you're missing something.) I believe the maple syrup was the kicker. I've tried similar recipes, but never with pancake syrup. This is a very good marinade.
