I live in central Arkansas. I have a little dog who likes to watch me cook, and I love to read, watch movies, and travel. I go to school part time and work at a major international corporate aviation training company. I am one of only 3 women in my office with 9 men, and we have up to 35 male clients here from out of town for up to 3 weeks at a time. I use them as my guinea pigs! I have only been cooking & baking as a hobby for the past year or so. Luckily my wonderful boyfriend is willing to try anything I make. Desserts! I recently discovered that I love to make Bundt cakes, and I'm always on a quest for the perfect cookie. I like to make dinner items as well, mainly pasta dishes. I would love to be able to learn more healthy ways to get food on the table. I'm from the south, and my grandmother is the epitome of a southern grandma. One day I hope to be able to prepare meals like she does....fried chicken, salmon patties, cornbread, chicken & dumplins, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, tons of veggies, and then the best yellow cake with hot fudge sauce you've ever tasted. My own peanut butter cookies n' cream ice cream pie. Sinful! An attempt at chocolate fondue for Valentine's Day for a now-ex boyfriend. What a mess! (both the fondue and the boyfriend)
