Blueberry Coffee Cake I

Delicious! I served this for a first communion brunch for my son, and everyone raved about it. Not a crumb left over. I gave the recipe to a friend, and she made it with raspberries, and said it was fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

Hash Brown Casserole II

These were very delicious! I had just canned some potatoes from my garden so I diced them up and used them instead of the hash browns. I also used cream of mushroom soup and omitted the butter. They were a hit and I will be making them again. Great comfort food.

Boston Baked Beans

Out of all the baked bean recipes I found on this website, this is the only one made from scratch. I didn't want a "redo" of the canned stuff. These came out really good and even though you had to plan ahead, they were super easy. I also added some garlic, and cooked the beans with ham hocks for more flavor. I tripled the recipe for 25 people and had plenty left over. Everyone wanted the recipe! It's a keeper!

My husband really liked these, but I thought they were pretty bland. Something is missing but I can't figure out what it is. Maybe I'll try using buttermilk next time.

Rhubarb Cheesecake

Very delicious and super easy. I scaled down the crust ingredients by one third because it would have been too thick. I made it for a bunch of fishermen at the lodge where I work and they ate every last bit. Will definitely make this one again!

Tater Tot Casserole III

This was really good. However, I made a few changes. I didn't use any butter at all, I used Mozzerella cheese instead of cheddar because it's all I had, and Durkee onions on top because I didn't have any Cornflakes. It was still delicious and didn't miss the butter at all.

This was excellent! I'm glad I took the advice of some of the others who rated this recipe and lowered the oil and butter amounts. I only used half and it was more than enough. Will definitely make again, but use more garlic. Thanks!

Barbecue Beef for Sandwiches

This was fantastic. I quadrupled the recipe to make enough for 50 at a church dinner. Didn't look like enough at first but there was plenty. Got many compliments. Tastes even better the next day. Served it with baked beans and cole slaw and it was a big hit. Thanks.

Spanish Rice Bake

This was fantastic! My husband doesn't like cheese very much so I only used a little bit. Also, I added the cilantro in the mixture along with some minced garlic to jazz it up a bit. This is also pretty low fat so a definite keeper! Thanks for sharing it!!!

Salmon with Pecan Honey Glaze

Even my kids liked this one. Very easy and quick to prepare. We live in Alaska and love to fish so there's always have lots of salmon in the freezer. It's nice to find good recipes for it so we don't get so tired of it. Thanks!

Spicy Bean Salsa

What a great salsa! I've never tried anything like this before and made it for my Bunco group that meets once a month. Everyone loved it. However, I only added half the jalapenos and it was still hot, but not too hot...just right. I also like the fact that I can make it a day ahead. I also took the advice of some other reviewers and added cilantro and garlice. Yum!

Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

This dish was fantastic. I had to use canned green beans, but it was still really tasty. I can't wait to try it in the summer time when I have fresh beans and carrots from my garden. A very addition to a meal because of the color. I served it for Christmas dinner with ham and scalloped potatoes. It was a hit. Thanks!

Honey Glazed Ham

This was a really good ham, but not the best I've had. I still prefer the cooking bag method. It's much juicier. I found this ham to be a bit dry, but still had really good flavor. My kids loved it. Maybe next time I'll try combining the 2 some how. Thanks!

Baked Scalloped Potatoes

This is a great recipe. It's just like the one my mom made when I was a kid. To make it a bit less bland, soak the raw potatoes in cold salt water for a couple hours. Drain them and par boil them with a can of chicken broth in the water. This gives the potatoes more flavor and cuts down on the baking time.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

I have had a lot of different meat loaf in my time, but this one was one of the best. Also, very easy to prepare. Even my kids ate it and they don't like onions. I have another meatloaf recipe that I really like, but takes too much prep time. This one was a cinch.

Banana Cake VI

This cake was fantastic. I made a double batch and baked it in 2 jelly roll pans and brought it to a dinner at church. Everyone wanted the recipe! And living where it's cold, I didn't have to use my freezer...I just put them outside. I also added some walnuts on one of them. YUMMY!
