About this Cook
Well I moved to Wyoming when I was 15 and am the oldest out of 5 brothers and sisters. So I started cooking early. I love to cook...except for when it's myself. I'm always looking for new recipes to try in the kitchen.
My favorite things to cook
Right now I've been on a Chinese food kick, but it changes up with my mood, a couple of weeks ago I was on a Green Chili misson. I get cravings and then I try to find recipes to make the ultimate dish.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I would throw salt or something over my shoulder but that's constitutes sweeping the floor again. In my family we have what you call secret family recipes...but I guess I'm too young to learn them yet. I do know that whenever we went to my grandmother's house at the lake we always had fried bass and pancakes. Yum!
My cooking triumphs
Whenever I finally triumph a dish. I look at alot of recipes but to triumph you gotta give it your own little ump!
My cooking tragedies
The first time I made homemade tomatoe soup, I added way to much baking powder to the tomatoes and it tasted really bad. I also am afraid of salt. I don't care how many potatoes I add it never seems to work for me.

Feta Chicken Salad
I love this salad! It needs no changes just fine as is. It makes some of the best chicken salad sandwiches I have ever had. Whenever I make this up it is usually all gone in 2 days and their is only 2 of us. Thankyou for a great recipe!

Shrimp and Crab Bisque
Excellent recipe. I followed the recipe as is except for I didn't have any fresh crab meat so I used canned and it still came out awesome. I made it in a bread bowl and it was a big hit. Thankyou for this one--it's a keeper!

Apricot-Glazed Cornish Hens
I made this recipe for someone who had never had cornish hen before and he loved it. I have added a copy of this to my personal favorites. Thankyou
