Easy Baking Powder Drop Biscuits

These were pretty good and super easy to make. I added 1 tsp of Garlic powder,1 tsp of parsley flakes and 1/4 cup cubed marble cheese. I baked at 375 for 15 mins. I did bake the other way but I found my bottoms burned to quickly.

Strawberry Tiramisu Trifle

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
I can't give this full tars because I made a few changes. I uses Angel food cake and not lady fingers. I never poured the coffee over the cake because I did not want it to get soggy. I also added blueberries and put a layer of whipped cream on the top. Pretty much I just took the pudding creamcheese mixture from this recipe. THAT PART WAS GREAT! It was a hit and I will be using it again!

Creamy Rice Pudding

This is a family favorite and also a great way to use my left over rice at dinner time. Jasmine rice is the best I have used so far.

One Bowl Brownies

These were good. I found that they turned out a little dry so the second time I mad them I cooked less and put in a smaller pan. That way they were thicker and more moist.

French Bread

Pretty good. I made 2 loaves and a dozen buns. Then buns turned out perfect. I covered the loaves with a damp towel and it stuck, making my bread fall and become dense. I usually cover all my rising dough with Saran wrap and I never have any problem. This is a recipe I will make again for sure.

Sylvia's Ribs

This was a pretty good sauce. I added a tad amount of water because I had them in my crock pot all day and did not want them to stick. I also used this recipe for some chicken pieces I had and it turned out great too. Definitely a keeper.

These were great! My family gobbled them up right away. I like that they are lighter than a pancake so they went well with other breakfast items.

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

I really wish my camera was working! I made this recipe using my new KitchenAid Stand mixer I got for christmas. I too, did not melt the butter I used softened butter and spread in on by hand. After cutting them with dental floss (for perfect circles) I placed them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper about 2 inch apart and baked for 18 mins. Yum Yum Yum! I will definitely be making these again.

These are great! I like to add 1 raw potato, peeled and grated to the mixture using the optional egg. It makes for a nice filler compared to those mushy bread crumbs.

Fry Bread Tacos II

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
Just a hint, the secret is to not to over knead your dough and to fry in pure lard and nothing but! Also the other poster was right, you put a hole in the middle and lard in the batter! Where I'm from the fry bread is called bannock.....also if you want to "lighten" it up press onto a pan and bake at 350f for 25 mins.

These were great, I added some almod flavor and a bit of ground almond, they wouldn't bend very nice after that but they were still awesome.
