About this Cook
I'm a vet student and a newlywed. Cooking is a great way for me to de-stress after a long day at school or studying for school. I have a cat and a bunny to keep me company while I study and my husband is working.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking tradition is when my mom and I would make a Red Waldorf Cake every year for my birthday and her birthday. It's one of the few recipes that's passed down through the generations in my family, and I was so excited when it was passed down to me this last year. It's a tradition I will certainly continue with my own family.

Pasta With Tuna Sauce
This was a really great recipe for a quick lunch. I didn't have any capers, but it was still really good. This is definitely a keeper for the lunch menu.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs (Suan T'ien Niu Jou Po Lo La Tzu)
This was so good. It's such a great way to use pineapple and ground beef together. My husband was skeptical when I told him about this recipe, but he loved it. I will definitely be making this again.

Salsa Chicken
Amazing!!!! I made this for my husband and a guest, and they both absolutely loved it. My husband loved it so much he wanted me to make it again only 2 nights after I made it the first time. This will definitely become a regular dinner for us.
